Firstly, let me just remember to say that my momma is pokbg... and now over to my story...

It was a Sunday, just about a little over a year ago... momma and poppa had just been to church (the sermon was about the untouchables, the ones socity rejects)... after church they decided to stop at a little bootsale. There they bought some stuff, and realised they were out of cash...

So, off to the cashmachine they ventured, only to find that it was out of use at the present time... so they decided to go inside the shopping centre to get some cash...

And that’s when I heard momma for the first time… even though I was very scared I could still hear her screaming her head off! Momma came running towards me, screaming for the guys who where kicking me to stop.

She pushed them aside, and scooped me up into her arms. The two men who’d been kicking me was talking to momma, but she didn’t hear a word they said, instead she cuddled me closer and whispered into my ears that I was safe now.

By this time poppa had reached us. Momma looked into his eyes and said “we’re not leaving her”. Poppa said “never”… and so off we went. Me safely snuggled up with momma, poppa getting cash, and to the car we went. As soon as I was safely in the car, poppa went and got an advertisement card. He brought it back for momma to fill in, and she wrote that they had found a beautiful little girly kitty – me!

I was ever so good in the car, all purrs and cuddles. We drove for about 30 minutes, and then momma and poppa showed me home.

Home was wonderful! I got fed lovely wet food, and momma and poppa checked me over. I was very skinny, and had a wound on my belly (which was healing), but otherwise I was just a little dirty… I’m normally very clean, but it was hard for me to get time to clean myself when I had to fight for my food.

I was so happy – I had everything I’d ever wanted – a family and a warm safe home, and plenty of food! But my dream was shattered… as suddenly momma opened the door and in came a giant kitty! I hated the kitty! I would steal my food! I hissed and spat at the kitty, but all he did was to ignore me.

When I first met Pok... I hissed and spat at him:

That night I snuggled up with momma and poppa in bed, slept all purring in between them… only to wake up and find that the giant male kitty was still there to steal my food.

Momma and poppa waited for a week to see if anyone called for me, and to everyones joy no-one did! So I got booked in to the vets to get my vaccinations. They scanned me for a microchip, but I had none, so momma and poppa had on made for me, which will tell everybody that I belong with momma and poppa!

Momma then started to take me out on a leash, so I could get to know the neighbourhood. By the time I’d had my boosters I was ready to be allowed out all by myself! I never used to go far, only sit and play with insects in the garden.
After three weeks I started to realise that the huge male kitty wasn’t going to steal my food, as there was plenty of food for both of us. I started to like the kitty, and momma told me he was my brother now.

Me and my brother:

My brother still ignores me (except when he wants to play), but I think he’s lovely! I try to groom him and cuddle him, but he’s still not too keen on either of those. Mol!

Me now, all happy and snug (taken yesterday):
