|
|
I've been feeding Percy pretty much nothing but cooked white fish (Pollock) and cat biscuits recently. Does anyone know if this is unsafe? I've searched the 'net for information but can't find a thing. I'm worried he isn't getting a proper diet (which I know is crazy as I'm sure a diet of fish is a cat's dream!). Any advice would be great. Thanks xx _________________

If you're feeding him a white diet because of his tummy, like we did with Teddy, we supplamented his diet with Science Plan sensitive stomach dry food. He's fine now, but he more or less lives on dry food. And he loves it. You could try him with that. The other was James wellbeloved, the vet said ti try that if he was getting fed up of the other stuff, but he prefers SP. _________________

As long as he gets dry food it's not a problem at all - he'll be a happy chappy indeed, gettign all that yummy fish... and everything else he needs in the dry food. _________________

Cheers guys. He's been pretty quiet the last couple of days and with the problems Ian and Lisa are having I can't help but watch him carefully. So I thought maybe his diet was too blame. But it's also occured to me that he's growing up, Percy has now slowed down and behaving like a proper cat! _________________

Oh but, he'll still have a mad moment every now and again. Moto does, but it's usually because Teddy is chasing him and if he doesn't want 11lbs of fluff on top of him , he has to move. Once Percy gets his dry food and his fish, he'll be bouncing. LOL _________________

LOL! I tell you, it's far cheaper than cat food. £1.29 for a bag from Sainsburys and that lasts a week. Try getting regular cat food for that cost! The only downside is our kitchen honks of fish twice a day _________________

Hahahah, yes it's pretty strong, could you try just chicken, we microwave some for ours when they have upset tums, it's really just to give them a change and it doesn't reek. LOL _________________
