Oh Ian... it's so hard... the saying goes to "get over a loss"... but no-one ever get over it... time just makes it easier... but it will always be there.
Blessed little Bola... what a little sweetie he is. _________________

I thought that about Black Tom, and even tho' Beckett was very different, he was on the same level as BT.

It's his headbutt greetings I miss most, especially at night, tho' I can't say I was overly impressed when he woke me in the early hours doing it to let me know he'd come home It's more anger at the way his life ended atm, accidental or not, it's no way for any cat to go.

The good memories will outlast the painful ones, that I do know

Yeah, things will get better, it's not quite as bad now tbh, but this will last a while yet.

Only some of the time, he's a bloody nuisance most of it
It's strange, Beckett and Bola used to sleep on my bed at night, but for the past few nights it's been Fudge and Bola Considering it wasn't that long ago she couldn't bear to be near him, this is nice to see. They don't curl up together like Beckett and Bola, but it wouldn't surprise me to see that happen soon.

Hi Ian,
Just wanted to say I was lucky enough to have all my cats buried in my garden, well the last ones that died since I've lived here, which unfortunately has been 5 in 12 years. Although you obviously never forget them, I have had moments when I'm at the bottom of the garden where 4 of them are buried that I'm overwhelmed with memories and feel so sad, at the same time it is a comfort to know they're remains are near by. Mostly though it's your special memories of them that make you smile. Black Tom and Beckett sounded like such wonderful cats they're always be with you.
Bola will help heaps, just being there, I know having another cat or cats to think about helps, my thoughts are with you. x

Hi Kaz,
Thank you.
Yeah, Bola will keep me on my toes that's for sure, and Fudge will just carry on being herself.

But Ian you don't have to wonder if it's been done now, have a good cry and remember him and think back on all the laughs he gave you and the times you were cursing him, just hold on to your memories. x _________________

Oh Ian, that is a sad start to the day, but like Kath says, now you know.
Please dont let it ruin your whole day, get down the pub later for your Saturday Bevvy and remember all the good times and of course his naughty annoying irritating little sod times. xx _________________
