The vet will give you the right amount to use depending on her weight, they came in little vials and you use the whole vial. _________________

Cool, my mum's cats have this and I've seen the vials. You put it on the back of the neck don't you? _________________

Yes, that's right Ali, I think it's the easiest way to do de-fleaing or worming, I now have to give them their Profender ( worming). LOL oh the fun. _________________

Hi All,
regarding Frontline, do you think it is ok to put it on Enzo?It says it's ok for kittens over 8weeks old but i am cautious. If he was on his own I wouldn't bother as he is inside all the time but with having the other two and them both going out they can pick up fleas and ticks from outside so i wan't to protect them all. They are fine with it and have never had any problems.Should i maybe only use half a vial? Any suggestions? I could ask the vet I know but it's always good to get advice from Cat owners. He doesn't have any fleas at the moment but now he's getting friendleai with the other two there is a greater chance of him picking them up so i want to stop that from happening.

It is safe to use from 8 weeks on, but what you have to watch is the strength of the frontline you have, there are vials for small/medium and large cats, so that' would be more important, check his weight before giving him any. _________________

Yes, as Kath mentioned, as long as you check to do the correct dosage for his weight it will be fine.
I'm not certain if it was frontline, or what it was, as it was a few years ago... but I remember using some sort of thing for Pok once at the back of his neck... and luckily I'd read on all the info on the pack first... as Pok managed to get some on his paw and then lick it - and the foam! He looked like Santa Claus, just that his beard was made out of foam!
5 minutes later he was completely back to normal tohugh, except for a trail of drool as he ran like crazy around the house as soon as he noticed his "beard". _________________

cheers for the advice I will (try) to weigh him maybe when he's sleepy!! Enzo has decided he doesn't like Tesco food so i am still buying him Whiska's kitten it's the only one he will eat but he loves the new whiskas biccies with the little filled pockets in! The other two love that he has whiskas cos they usually get Tesco stuff so they lap up any he leaves! I need to take out a second mortgage for all the cat food i have to buy now ha ha _________________
